This Week's Menu

My husband and I are trying to be more budget conscious lately, and that means paying more attention to my grocery list. This week I am cooking a turkey we had given to us by a neighbor, and that will help add protein to a few meals. I am also cooking a different kind of dried bean in the crockpot each day, so that when I need them for meals they are ready to use. Its so much cheaper than buying canned!

Breakfast~
Oatmeal with apples x 3
Smoothies and toast
Pancakes
Eggs
Baked Oatmeal

Lunch~
Sandwiches, yogurt, apples (kids)
Salad, cottage cheese (me)

Dinner~
Chili, cornbread (kids)
Cheeseburger pie, low carb cheddar biscuits, and broccoli
Pizza (with Gwen's E bread), raw vegetables
Mexican spaghetti casserole, salad, blue corn tortilla chips
Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy (kids), peas
General Tsao's chicken (recipe coming soon!), brown rice, peas
Zest of Southwest soup (pg. 294 in THM book), quesadillas

Snacks~
skinny chocolate
string cheese
greek yogurt
peanuts/ almonds
